Sales Associate
Description
The Sales Associate is the frontline market hunter: proactively sourcing leads, qualifying prospects, nurturing relationships, and advancing opportunities through the sales funnel for handover to Sales Managers and senior leadership. This role sits between traditional SDR and full-cycle sales, emphasizing hustle, pipeline velocity, and consistent quota attainment in a smaller, high-accountability team.
Requirements

1–2 years in sales development, lead generation, or account executive roles, ideally in fintech, crypto, brokerage, or high-value B2B/B2C services (real estate experience is a strong plus).
- Proven ability to hit activity and outcome targets (e.g., 50+ dials per day, 20% lead-to-opportunity conversion, consistent quota attainment).
- Experience serving both private clients (retail traders/investors) and businesses (funds, family offices).

Hunter mentality with resilience, excellent phone presence, and persuasive communication skills.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM (or similar) for pipeline management and activity logging.
- Familiarity with financial products, crypto markets, or trading platforms is advantageous.
- Fluent English required; Spanish highly preferred for local market penetration.
- Office-based role in Marbella (no remote option).
Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Actively prospect in the Marbella and Costa del Sol market—networking at events, cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and leveraging referrals to build a robust pipeline of retail and institutional prospects.

Qualification & Nurturing: Rapidly assess inbound leads and warm up cold prospects through personalized outreach, discovery calls, and value-driven follow-ups to build interest in Currency.com offerings.

Funnel Progression: Advance qualified opportunities through defined sales stages—demo scheduling, objection handling, and proposal delivery—preparing polished handoffs to Sales Managers for closing.

Target Achievement: Hit weekly and monthly quotas for new leads, qualified opportunities, and pipeline value, contributing directly to team revenue goals.

Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, local market trends, and client feedback to refine targeting and share insights with the Sales Manager.

Process Adherence: Follow standardized sales playbooks, CRM hygiene standards (HubSpot), and daily activity cadences to ensure predictable, scalable performance.
